Huysburg can be reached by public transport via Halberstadt Central Station – from there, bus route 220 runs on weekdays, and the on-demand bus service AST 5 runs at weekends and on public holidays (book by phone at least 60 minutes in advance on 0391 5363180) to the “Röderhof, Abzweig Huysburg” stop. From there, it is a 900-metre walk. You can find current departure times at hvb-harz.de/regionalverkehr. The easiest way to
reach Huysburg by car is via Halberstadt: in the town, follow the B79 towards Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel and turn right immediately after the bridge over the Holtemme towards Dingelstedt/Schlanstedt. Drive through Röderhof and turn right towards Huysburg just past the “Gambrinus” forest restaurant. Please note the 3.40 m height restriction at the railway underpass on the L 83 – a detour is possible via Sargestedter Weg.
