When was Huysburg Abbey founded?

Following the subjugation of the Saxons by Charlemagne, the Franks established a military garrison on the Huy around 780. It served to secure the region against the Slavs. At the same site, Bishop Burchard I of Halberstadt built a chapel, which was consecrated in 1058 with the participation of Archbishop Engelhard of Magdeburg. Huysburg Abbey was founded in 1080 as a Benedictine abbey.
