St Benedict refers to the entire monastery as the ‘House of God’, not just the church. By this he means that the aim is to allow the presence of God to shape every aspect of daily life.
The Benedictine tradition conveys spiritual attitudes that provide guidance and shape Christian life in everyday circumstances. It invites us to live mindfully and to perceive God’s presence in all areas of life.
In addition, other programmes provide opportunities for fellowship, spiritual deepening and personal guidance. They address a variety of life situations and spiritual questions.
